The international wellness startup Walk15, together with Vilnius Airport (VNO), has launched the world’s first initiative of its kind – travelers can now purchase the Fast Track security screening service using only their steps. This pilot project is being introduced during another significant initiative for the capital – "Vilnius – European Green Capital 2025."

To use the Fast Track service at Vilnius Airport, travelers simply need to have 100,000 steps accumulated in the Walk15 app.

"Welcome to the world’s first Fast Track lane paid for by steps. Every step we take brings double benefits – not only improving our health and mood but also enabling us to enjoy more comfortable travel experiences. I’m proud that Vilnius has become the launch site for this pilot project, and I believe that soon other airports around the world, aiming to inspire positive change for travelers, will follow our example," said Vlada Musvydaitė-Vilčiauskė, founder and CEO of Walk15.

This world-first initiative also reflects the growing global demand for technology-driven tools that motivate people to stay active.

"The Fast Track step-based offer allows our passengers to turn their daily activity into a practical benefit during their travels – to move faster and more conveniently. Through this, we are further advancing our sustainability and innovation goals," said Simonas Bartkus, CEO of Lithuanian Airports.

The offer is not a one-time opportunity – travelers can use it every week, aiming to create a lasting impact and contribute to the city’s broader sustainability goals.

"Being the European Green Capital isn't just symbolic. It's a challenge that encourages us to find effective and appealing ways to connect the daily activities of city residents and visitors with sustainability and mobility. Real impact is what matters, and transforming steps into benefits like 'Fast Track' express passenger screening at the airport is one creative proof that change is possible," said Jurga Pociūtė-Mikūtienė, Head of the Vilnius City Municipality project "Vilnius – European Green Capital 2025."

The offer is available to all Walk15 Plus users, who can take advantage of it once per week by exchanging 100,000 steps accumulated in their Walk15 app wallet each time.
